Man sentenced in crash that killed father-in-law

RACINE
A seemingly enjoyable night out at a May wedding reception ended tragically when an 84-year-old passenger was killed in a car accident caused by his son-in-law who admitted to having a few drinks hours earlier.

And for his choice to drive around 11 p.m. after reportedly drinking six beers between 4:30 and 10 p.m., David F. Allgeyer was sentenced Friday morning to 20 days in jail and two years probation.
